Castle Veterinary Group

Facilities
Castle Veterinary Group moved up to Pepperwash Lane in 2004 after having been down on Forestreet in Framlingham for many years. The Pepperwash Lane site was newly purpose-built for our needs and represents a thoroughly modern veterinary practice. It is light and airy, well designed with a large carpark.

We have 2 operating theatres and a dental operating room. The operating theatres are where we do our sterile surgeries which run from routine neuterings to more sophisticated soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. The anaesthetic machines are portable and can be moved between rooms as required. During surgeries we use modern monitoring equipment like pulse oximeters and blood pressure machines.
Reception
We have a large reception area so you should be able to find a secluded seat if your pet is nervous or if you have a cat. There is plenty of information on the display boards and our team of receptionists can help you with any requests you have. We also host our Puppy Parties here along with any talks that are held such as the Chicken Talks.
X-ray room
We perform many x-rays on a daily basis. For more details see the "radiography" page.
Kennels
After their procedure, your pet will be put in a nice warm kennel with plenty of soft bedding and a heat pad and kept a close eye on while they recover from anaesthetic.
We have a separate dog and cat kennels which is important to minimise stress.
A lot of emphasis is placed and a strict protocol is employed on sanitizing kennels between patients.
Our dental operating room has a modern dental machine which is just like your dentist would have. It has an ultrasonic scaler, drill and polisher.

Consultation Rooms
At Castle we have three air conditioned consult rooms which are all fully stocked enabling our vets to give your pets the best treatment possible. In each of the rooms we have tables which fold up and away if needed which can be better if your pet is more comfortable being examined on the floor.
