Many people bring injured wildlife to us e.g. ducks, hedgehogs, birds, bats. We are required by the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) to treat all Wildlife within normal working hours for free. This means you will not be asked for any money if you bring an injured wild animal in to us. So feel free! However sometimes treatment options are limited and we have to look at what's best for the animal and how likely they are to make a complete recovery and return to the wild. If we think we can treat them we do and their aftercare is often done by one of the many fantastic wildlife rehabilitation centres e.g. Stonham Barns, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and even keen and knowledgable individuals.
